Brad and his team (Brent and Owen) were great to work with. Brad was particularly helpful in helping us navigate our insurance process. Brent and Owen were very professional and we are more than happy with the work they did to re-finish our basement.

Capital Finishing Construction renovated a powder room for us. Bradley and his team provided excellent attention to detail, were professional and courteous, readily available to communicate with us and used contractors that provided the same attributes.
Special appreciation goes out to Jason who was always friendly, on time and on task (excellent handyman and painter) and to Frank the plumber who went the extra mile and changed up the pipes under our sink with new ones (without us having to ask) to make everything look tidy and shiny.
All in all, a really great experience.

It is a pleasure to provide our review of work we recently had done by Brad Shane’s company, Capital Finishing.

From start to finish, our experience was exceptional.

We contracted with Brad to do a number of updates to our 18-year-old kitchen.

Much of the work required was to correct deficiencies from the original kitchen renovation to cabinetry, poor paint quality and workmanship, and updating and improving some of the unique details of the kitchen’s woodwork and “look”.

This was not a big job, but it required a level of detail that could be considered “finicky”.

It is important to note that we had put off this work for years, as we could not find an affordable contractor who left us with any sense of confidence that the work would be done well. Not many companies are willing to take on correcting mistakes made by others.

We were not looking for a deal. We were looking for quality workmanship at a fair price.

We found it with Brad and his team.

The end result was an updated kitchen that met all of our requirements beautifully.

Our experience had us working with three members of Brad’s team - Bo, Dan and Keith.

What a great group of individuals they are – so careful and respectful of our home, and genuinely interested in doing the very best they could for us – and they did.

Each of them was talented in the areas of their specialty. And on those inevitable occasions during a project like this one when we wanted to consider something different to what we had thought we wanted, each of them was able to give us sound advice on what was possible.

We truly enjoyed meeting and working with each of Brad’s team. They are a credit to Capital Finishing and highlight Brad’s leadership of a company that really does care about the client. It was wonderful to work with skilled tradespeople who were also delightful to have in our home.

If you want to have confidence that the work you need to have done, will be done well, done on time, and on budget, then look no further. These are the people for you.

I hope this review has adequately expressed how completely satisfied and impressed we were with Brad and his very capable team. You will be in good hands.

This contractor has an amazing group of workers. From the office staff who are very organized and keep the projects running smoothly and on time to the crew on job sites who brings your project to life. We do the plumbing for Capital Finishing and I must say they are one of the best general contractor in the city

I hired Capital Finishing to give my kitchen a facelift (painting cabinet doors and new countertop and backsplash). The results were beyond my expectations. Brad, Boh and Keith were great to work with and I really feel like they gave the job the attention that they would as if it were their own home. I wouldn't hesitate hiring them for future work. If you're looking to get a reno done in time and on budget, you would be doing yourself a disservice by not contacting Capital Finishing!

Consulted with a few different companies but landed up going with Capital Finishing and am very glad I did.
They did an excellent job building a basement bathroom for me. Their contractors were punctual, friendly, and truly professionals at their craft.
10/10 Would do business with them again.
Thank you!

Brad, Jason, and the Capital Finishing team did a fantastic job with our bathrooms. It was a challenging tile and shower job and they completed the reno with thoughtful care and attention to every detail. They are great communicators, we are very happy with the work they did and would hire them again without hesitation.
